Overview

The Planning Policy Team uses information from a variety of sources to monitor, review and to formulate planning policies. The policies and proposals of the Local Plan must be based on robust, proportionate and credible evidence in order for the Plan to be considered ‘sound’. A number of studies and reports have been prepared either by the Council, or external consultants where appropriate, in order to provide this evidence.
