Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Additional Restrictions Grant now open for application

North Norfolk District Council have launched the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Additional Restrictions Grant to support businesses who have been severely impacted by the rise of the Omicron variant, and who are not eligible for the main Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant scheme.

Businesses that are not eligible for the main Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant, can now apply for the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Additional Restrictions Grant (OHLARG).

The closing date for applications is 28 February 2022 at 12pm (midday).

We are accepting applications from businesses operating in all sectors. However, businesses must state in their application how the Omicron variant has impacted their business.

Priority will be given to businesses operating or engaged in supplying goods or services to the hospitality, leisure and accommodation sectors.

Businesses outside of the identified priority sectors can also apply for the grant although these applications will only be processed after the closing date of 28 February 2022. Grant awards to businesses in the non-priority sectors will be subject to the availability of funds after payments have been made to applicants in the priority sectors.

All applicants should read the grant guidance before starting their application.

In addition to this, further support for businesses operating in North Norfolk’s visitor economy is planned by North Norfolk District Council. Drawing from the Additional Restrictions Grant fund, NNDC will provide visitor facing businesses with free memberships to Visit North Norfolk, the officially commissioned Destination Management Organisation and visitor guide for north Norfolk.
