Vaccines to be offered to unvaccinated Ukrainian guests

North Norfolk District Council offers Ukrainian Welcome sessions for new arrivals to North Norfolk, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the council offices.

These sessions take place every week between 2pm and 4pm, where families can meet other families and people from key organisations who can provide them with support.

From Thursday 26 May, unvaccinated Ukrainian guests can get a COVID vaccination or booster, should they require one.

These vaccination sessions will be held every other Thursday at the Ukrainian Welcome sessions.

Oksana Croom, North Norfolk District Council, Ukrainian Community Support Officer said:

“In my opinion, it is a very good idea to provide Ukrainian people with a Covid vaccination service. For many of them moving to another country with a completely different climate can be quite challenging.

We want to make sure they are well protected here in the UK”
