Stalham is open for business

Norfolk County Council are delivering a programme of essential pavement and resurfacing works in Stalham High Street over the next 10 weeks.
While the works are in progress, North Norfolk District Council would like to encourage residents and visitors to continue supporting their local shops and businesses in Stalham.
The works, expected to last until March 15, involve intermittent road closures and traffic management. During this time, businesses along the high street will remain open as usual.
Stalham has a diverse range of independent businesses that offer unique gifts, fresh produce options, and other locally sourced products.
Cllr. Matthew Taylor, local member for Stalham, said:
“The message is a clear one - our brilliant local businesses are open and trading. We have such a wide range of services in Stalham which not only support the town but countless villages for miles around.
Through this closure, it's so important to shop local, to directly support the brilliant men and women who provide such an important draw into the town centre. Both Cllr. Bayes and I have been working hard to bring as much support to Stalham as we can, and we will continue working to address issues with the closure”.
Shopping locally has a great impact on your local community – for every £1 spent with a small or medium-sized business, 63p stays in the local economy.
The Council-run car park in Stalham will also be open as usual during this time, giving visitors and locals a great parking option when they visit the town - alternative parking is also available in the town.
