The Treasury Management Strategy sets out details of the Council’s treasury management activities and presents a strategy for the prudent investment of the Council’s surplus funds.
The preparation of an annual Strategy Statement is necessary to comply with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s Code of Practice for Treasury Management in Public Services.
