House to house collections
A licence is required for promoters of door-to-door charitable collections. This is to regulate those who wish to promote an appeal for a collection and go from door to door to collect:
- direct debit requests
- money, usually using sealed collection tins or envelopes
- collect items, for example, donated clothing and bric-a-brac
- to sell goods for charitable purposes
For a valid application, we require all of the following forms and documentation for processing. Incomplete applications will be returned.
Please read our Street Trading Policy before applying.
