Appeal a planning decision
You can appeal to the Planning Inspectorate if an application is refused or approved, subject to conditions, and is considered unfair or unreasonable.
How to appeal
Details of how to appeal are on the back of the decision notice or appeal a planning decision on theĀ GOV.UK.
There is no third party right to appeal, for example, an objector unhappy with a decision to approve.
You must submit appeals to the Planning Inspectorate within specific timeframes.
Making representation on an appeal
If comments were made on an application before it was decided, you can make further comments directly to the Planning Inspectorate.
