Buy a car park parking permit
Car park parking permits can be purchased online
We offer two types of parking permits:
- short stay 3-hour
- long stay 24-hour
You can buy a new permit, renew an existing permit or reissue a permit after loss, damage or a change of vehicle.
Parking permit terms and conditions
24-hour parking permit
The 24-hour parking permit allows 24-hour parking 7 days a week and is allowed in selected council car parks only.
24-hour permits are not valid in:
- Cromer, Meadow Road
- Holt, Albert Street
- Sheringham, Chequers
- Sheringham, Morris Street
- Wells, Staithe Street
You can also buy a weekly parking permit from any pay and display machine.
3-hour parking permit
The 3-hour parking permit allows up to 3 hours of parking on any occasion. The parking permits consist of a manual dial that users set when they park the vehicle.
The vehicle can remain in the same car park for a maximum of 3 hours, after which you must remove the vehicle from the car park. Cars cannot return to the same car park within 2 hours but may park in alternative car parks for up to 3 hours each time.
General points of use
- parking permits must be displayed clearly at all times
- each permit holds up to two registration numbers
- changes to permit car registration details are subject to a £10 charge

Visit our Cromer and Fakenham offices. No appointment is needed.
Payment by debit or credit card. Cash is not accepted.
Parking permit applications made in person at our offices will not receive the permit on the same day. All permits are issued by post.
Weekly permit ticket
Weekly permit tickets can be purchased using the ParkingOps app and from any pay and display machine.
